FAQ
What should clients know about your pricing ( fees, etc )?
I try to keep my pricing fair as possible. We all know it cost more these days to live and pay our bills. If I don't charge properly I can not stay in business.
What is normally your process for working with a new customer?
I like to make contact and get a a good understanding of the work required. I have experience in so many fields. I do not offer all of them here. Make sure to give me all the info you can so I can help you the best I can. Video calls can be very helpful also.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With the multiple businesses I have owned throughout my very busy life I had to wear many hats. I have learned so much about construction, home repair and woodworking, irrigation, landscape construction. Lawn and shrub installation. Most of that is way in the past and not applicable here. But just know I have seen a lot.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into a family where I had to work to eat, cloth and house myself. I was always interested in working with my hands it just comes naturally to me to figure out how things work. I was the kid that had to fix things when mom called.
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it. Every walk of life. Residential, commercial, municipal I have been part of some pretty in depth jobs over the years. Always completed jobs to satisfaction of all parties.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have to say building my front porch in 2020. I started it about a month after having 7 stents installed. it took me a month or so. but since I had it properly engineered is strong and safe and beautiful.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they have insurance. I do have a general liability policy. If I accidently damage a customers property they know it will be repaired properly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Have a very good scope of work outline. Give as much info as possible. A video chat may also help tremendously. Have all the materials needed for the job ready. If not make sure you say materials are also needed.
